The “Heaven Cardigan” by Pope Vergara draws inspiration from the celestial skies and the enchantment of Greek mythology. To capture this essence, it is knitted using two strands of mohair, creating a voluminous effect reminiscent of clouds and an ethereal feel.
This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down, commencing with the back panel, featuring an elegant combination of beads and cables. Upon reaching the desired length and completing the necessary increases, the back is placed on hold, awaiting connection with the fronts that originate from the same back panel, incorporating the same cable pattern. Once the desired length for the fronts is achieved, they are joined with the back, and the knitting continues as one piece.
The pattern continues with the bead motif, concluding the body section with another stunning bead design and lacework. The sleeves are seamlessly integrated using short rows and feature a beaded ribbing to finish.
